Hello to everyone back in the Scenic Trails Council! Joe Woods and I (Mark Ewing) arrived today at Fort AP Hill in Bowling Green, Virginia the site of the 2010 National Scout Jamboree. We are both working in Special Foods at this event and our specialty will be delivering large sheet cakes with the Jamboree Logo on them. We also deliver and take orders for Dunkin Donuts and coffee supplies.I will try to give you a little slice of what the Jamboree life is all about each day. On the way out a tire on the Scenic Trails troop trailer blew to shreds, but it only took Joe about 10 minutes to change it. It took me longer to walk back down the Pennslyvania turnpike and retreive the fender that the tire blew off the trailer. I have attached a photo of the tire!
