•
WHAT SCOUTS DO: Scouts will shoot more than 540,000 arrows at targets, rappel more than 9 million feet, and mountain board the equivalent of four times the distance from Fort A.P. Hill to Washington, D.C.
•
GREEN ENVY: Jamboree participants will collect 50 tons of recyclable goods-—10 times more than what was recycled at the 2005 jamboree.
•
ROCKETS’ RED GLARE: The fireworks at the closing arena show were the largest pyrotechnics ever hosted on a military base.
